1. Where are you located?

We are located at 6188 B Old Franconia Rd, Alexandria VA 22310. Our building says "Sherman Properties" please enter the door that says "A Touch of Serenity" and walk up the stairs. There is free parking in our parking lot. 

2. Do you accept walk-ins?

We do not accept ANY walk-ins of ANY kind. You MUST schedule an appointment first. You can call (571.419.8543), email (atouchofserenity31@gmail.com), or schedule your appointment online. When scheduling your appointment, please keep in mind that same day appointments are usually not available. It is always best to schedule a few days in advance. 

3. Am I supposed to tip my therapist?

Tips are always greatly appreciated and may be left at your discretion with your therapist. Some people have been asking what is an appropriate tip to leave my therapist? and there is no right or wrong amount! Anything is very much appreciated! The average tips usually range from:

60 minute service $15-$20

90 minute service $25-$30

120 minute service $30-35

4. What do I bring with me to my appointment?

If you have recently had surgery or recovered from a condition or accident that required the care of a doctor please bring a doctor's note clearing you for massage. Other than that all you need to bring is a positive attitude and a clear mind. 

5. I am pregnant! Can I get a massage?

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Yes! You can get a massage. We ask that you wait to schedule your appointment until your second trimester. We do not perform 1st trimester prenatal massage. It is very important to mention your pregnancy at the time you book your appointment. Also, please note that we will not perform the following services while you are pregnant; hot stone, body scrub, hand and foot scrub, or aromatherapy. 

6. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, and credit cards

7. I am sick! Can I still come in for my massage?

No! Please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. Getting a massage while you are sick can actually make you feel even MORE sick (not to mention, your therapist)

8. Can I refer you guys to my friends?

Of course! We greatly appreciate referrals. Please go to the Serenity Referral Program section to learn more about our Serenity Dollars and how referrals can earn you discounted and FREE massages!

9. What is your cancellation policy?

Out of respect for your therapist's time, we do require that you provide at least 12 hours notice of your need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel or reschedule within 12 hours of your appointment, you will be charged for half the price of your session. If you fail to show up (NO SHOW) for your appointment, you will be charged the full amount.
